Euphoria Raglan Sweater Knitting Pattern (English)
Euphoria Raglan Sweater is a design featuring raglan seams, wide sleeves, and a beautifully rounded neckline. The texture and pattern are created using a slip stitch knitting technique. All edges are finished with i-cords, highlighting the light and airy character of the design.
The sweater is worked from the top down. First, the work is worked back and forth with raglan increases and increases towards the neckline to shape the U-shaped neckline. At the base of the neckline, the work is joined and the yoke is worked in the round, while continuing the raglan increases. At the bottom of the yoke, increases continue only towards the body. The work is then divided into body and sleeves, which are worked separately.
The body is worked straight down and finished with an i-cord edge. The sleeves are worked with decreases along the underside, fully integrated into the pattern, and are also finished with i-cords. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline and finished with an i-cord edge.
Choice of size
The sweater is designed to have 10–20 cm of positive ease. This means you should choose a size measuring 10–20 cm more than your own chest circumference.
If your chest measures 96 cm, choose size M with a circumference of 112 cm.
