COCO JACKET ENGLISH
This pattern is in English
Coco Jacket is a tight fitting jacket with a beautiful weaving pattern, where the stitches alternately lean towards the right or the left, which gives the work a special firmness.
The jacket is worked from top down. It will be worked flat knitting with increases around the two shoulder seams, to shape the shoulder slope. Then there will be increases for the sleeve. The front, the sleeves and the back are worked with the same needle, with different frequencies of increases, which leaves the impression of an insert sleeve and the result is a very nice tight fitting, which goes well with the curves of the body.
The body is worked straight down until the waist, and then there will be increases in the side seams, to make room for the hips. The sleeves are worked straight with a three-quarter lenght. The work is finished with cuff edgings on the lower side of the jacket and sleeves as well as around the neck. At the end there will be plackets worked in double knitting, where ends of yarn are weaved in to use them as fringes on both sides.
Choice of size
The model is designed without ease - small ease. That means that you need to choose a size that matches your chest measurement as closely as possible. If your chest measurement is 96 cm, you should choose a size M, with a chest circumference of 98 cm. If you are in between 2 sizes, I recommend choosing the bigger size.
