Kokomo Polo Jacket (Knitting Pattern English)
Kokomo Polo Jacket is a fitted design featuring a mesh pattern, long sleeves and a polo collar. It is worked from the top down. First, the fronts and back are worked back and forth, with increases around the shoulder stitches and towards the neck to create a sloping front neckline. Once the shoulder section has reached the correct length, the work is divided and the fronts and back are worked separately. Towards the lower part of the armholes, increases are worked at the outer edges of the fronts and back. The fronts and back are joined, and the body is worked straight down and finished with a double-knit edge worked perpendicular to the direction of knitting.
Plackets are added to the fronts and lead directly into the collar, which is worked in double knitting.
The sleeve is worked with a sleeve cap, first working back and forth across the top of the sleeve before joining in the round. The sleeve is then worked straight down and finished with a double-knit edge worked perpendicular to the direction of knitting.
The design is intended to have a small positive ease of approximately 0-10 cm. This means that you should choose a size where the bust circumference is 0-10 cm larger than your chest measurement.
For example, if you measure 96 cm, you should choose a size M with a bust circumference of 100 cm.
