It’s Like That Sweater Knitting Pattern (English)

It’s Like That Sweater is a model with a fit, v-neck and wide ribbing. The pattern is created by eyelet pattern and cables placed diagonally across the work by the use of in- and decreases.

The model is worked top down. Each shoulder is worked individually with increases around the shoulder stitches. When the decreases at the back of the neck are made the two shoulders are joined and worked back and forth together. Then the front- and back pieces are made individually until the armholes are formed. Now the work is joined again and worked in the round before it is finished with ribbing and Italian bind off.

Stitches are picked up from the armhole and the sleeves are worked in the round. Due to the in- and decreases the work is slanting. Therefore, the sleeves[JKF1]  are finished with short rows before the ribbing.

Finally, stitches are picked up along the v-neckline and worked as a double ribbing.
