Let's Twist Again Cardigan V-Neck Knitting Pattern (English)
Let’s Twist Again Cardigan V-neck is worked from the top down with saddle shoulders and contiguous sleeves. First, the shoulder sections are worked with cables that will continue down over the sleeve. Stitches are then picked up along each shoulder section. Work back and forth in rows with short rows to form the sloping part of the saddle shoulder, while at the same time working cables and increases towards the neckline at the front. The stitches are placed on hold while stitches are picked up on the other side of each shoulder section, which will form the back. Stitches are cast on at the neck and the upper part of the back is worked back and forth in rows with short rows and cables. The work is now joined across the left front, shoulder section, back, shoulder section, and right front. The body is worked back and forth in rows and finished with a hem in twisted rib. Stitches are picked up along the opening of the armhole, while at the same time the shoulder section is integrated into the sleeve so that the cable pattern can continue down over the sleeve. The sleeve is worked with decreases on the underside and finished with a cuff in twisted rib. Finally, stitches are picked up along the opening of the cardigan and the neckline, and neck and plackets are worked in one.
Choice of size
The cardigan is designed to have 20–25 cm of positive ease. This means you should choose a size measuring 20–25 cm more than your own chest circumference. If your chest measures 96 cm, choose size M with a circumference of 118 cm.
