Euphoria Carditee Knitting Pattern (English)
Euphoria Carditee is a cardigan featuring raglan seams, short cap sleeves and a beautifully rounded neckline with ties. The texture and pattern are created using a woven stitch technique. All edges are finished with i-cords, emphasising the light and airy design.
The cardigan is worked from the top down. First, the yoke is worked back and forth with raglan increases and neckline increases to create the rounded neckline. At the lower edge of the yoke, the increases continue only towards the body. The work is then divided into body and sleeves, which are worked separately. The body is worked straight and finished with a gentle curve at each lower front corner, followed by an i-cord edging. The sleeves are shaped using German Short Rows (GSR) and finished with an i-cord. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neck, which is finished with an i-cord and ties.
The cardigan is intended to have a small positive ease of approximately 0–10 cm. This means that you should choose a size where the cardigan circumference is 0–10 cm larger than your bust measurement.
For example, if you measure 96 cm, you should choose a size M with a cardigan circumference of 103 cm.
