Take A Bow Carditee

Knitting Pattern English

Take A Bow Carditee knitting pattern is a fitted design full of exciting details and techniques. The feminine silhouette is created using the contiguous method, where increases are worked in different sequences to form a sloping shoulder at the back, while simultaneously creating a beautiful sleeve cap. The method ensures a perfect fit without seams or finishing.

At the end of the armhole, the work is divided and the sleeves and body are worked separately. The sleeves are worked in the round and finished with a rib edge, which is cast off using Italian bind-off. The body is worked back and forth in rows and is likewise finished with a rib edge and Italian bind-off.

Around the neck, stitches are picked up and a braided i-cord is worked, creating a delicate frame around the Stockinette stitch cashmere cardigan.

Finally, double-knit plackets are worked, with fully integrated buttonholes on one side – all without breaking the yarn – giving an elegant and professional finish.

Choice of size

The design is intended to have a small positive ease of approximately 0-10 cm. This means that you should choose a size where the bust circumference is 0-10 cm larger than your bust measurement.

For example, if you measure 96 cm, you should choose a size M with a bust circumference of 100 cm.
