In The Air Tonight Top Knitting Pattern (English)
In The Air Tonight Top is a classic summer top made of a pattern in mesh and cables as shown in the diagram.
The construction is two rectangles worked separately, back and forth. The pieces are joined by a seam on each side and on each shoulder. The top is finished by an i-cord by the neck and in the armholes.
Choice of size
The top has a positive ease of 15-20 cm. This means you should choose a size measuring 15-20 cm more than your chest circumference. If your chest measures 96 cm, you should choose a size M with a circumference of 112 cm.
The length of the body can easily be adjusted. To lengths for every size are given in the pattern. The elongation corresponds to a complete pattern repeat (8 cm), but can also be further elongated by just a half pattern repeat (4 cm). If you choose other measurements than given in the patterns please recalculate the amount of yarn you have to use.
