Twist And Shout Sweat Suit Junior Knitting Pattern (English)

Twist And Shout Sweat Suit is a two-piece suit, consisting of a sweater and a pair of sweatpants.

The sweater is a raglan style model with cables, worked from the top down. The first part of the chest is worked flat knitting with increases on each side of the raglan seam, as well as towards the chest, for a nice neckline with a perfect fit. At the bottom of the neckline, stitches are cast on and the work continues working in the round.

When the yoke has reached the desired length, the body and sleeves are worked separately in the round continuing the pattern of the cables and finished with a ribbing trim in half twisted rib. The neckline will be worked in the same way but be folded for an extra nice finish.

The pants are also worked from the top down. The waistband is worked in a half twisted rib, with two holes in the front for the i-cord cable. The ribbing will be folded to build a tunnel for the i-cord. Using German short row technique on the back the pants are shaped making the back longer, than the front. Continuing in the round with cables along each side seam, different intervals of increases are used for a wonderful fit. Now work each leg separately with decreases along the inner seam of the leg and finishing with a ribbing trim worked in half twisted rib.
