Twist and Shout Top is a summer top with a tight and cropped fit. The top has a deep V-neck and buttons all the way down the front. The pattern is created by right- and left slanting cables divided by purl stitches which adds a rib effect to the pattern. The top is worked top down, starting with the two triangles of the chest  which are joined by cast on stitches creating the back piece. As a finish the plackets and straps are worked in twisted rib.

Choice of size

The sizes are without positive ease. This means that you should choose the size closest to your waist measurement.

Fits a waist measuring: 64-70 (68-78) 74-86 (84-96) 94-108 (106-114) (112-123) cm

Width (circumference of the body): 71 (76,5) 82 (87,5) 98,5 (109,5) 121 cm

Length (measured from the top of the shoulder strap) 46 (48) 48 (52) 53 (54) 55 cm

Knitting tension  27 stitches • 25 rows of pattern on a 5mm needle = 10 • 10 cm

Suggested needles 4 mm and 5mm circular needle (80-100 cm). Optionally a cable needle.

Materials Two strands of Esther from Permin or two strands of Cottonwool 3 from Gepard Garn 200 (200) 200 (250) 250 (275) 300 g and 5 buttons (dia. = 12-15 mm)
